Anda membeli sebuah notebook, kemudian Anda melihat spek VGA-nya dan di sana tertulis Nvidia Quadro NVS 135m. Anda bingung vga apakah itu. Jawabannya, lihat di Wikipedia. Semua ada di sana. Tapi daripada bingung-bingung, berikut ini adalah kutipan untuk yang penting-penting saja:

NVS 110M adalah VGA berbasis Geforce Go 7300
NVS 120M adalah VGA berbasis Geforce Go 7400
NVS 130M adalah VGA berbasis Geforce Go 8400G
NVS 135M adalah VGA berbasis Geforce Go 8400 GS
NVS 140M adalah VGA berbasis Geforce Go 8400 GT

Semua Quadro jauh lebih baik daripada VGA onboard. Quadro adalah Geforce versi Workstation. Kalau Geforce buat MAIN game, maka Quadro untuk MEMBUAT game. Quadro juga memiliki keunggulan 2 - 3x lebih cepat dalam aplikasi CAD / CAM. Tapi anehnya kalau dibuat main game dia jelas kalah dengan Geforce yang HARGANYA SEJENIS.

Mengenai harga, Quadro juga 2 - 3x lipatnya daripada Geforce yang berbasis sama, misalkan jika GeForce Go 7300 harganya 100.000 (MISAL jadi jangan dianggap beneran), NVS 110 bisa 200 - 300 ribu (MISAL).

Berikut ini ada trik. Jika Anda orang kaya, Anda memiliki anak yang super gengsi terhadap komputer tapi Anda tidak ingin anak anda bermain game. Solusinya belikan saja VGA Nvidia Quadro. Kalau perlu di laptop BISNIS :D. VGA Quadro 2 jutaan itu performa gamenya kurang lebih setara ama Geforce yang 800 ribuan :D.
